It is impossible for someone to misunderstand God.

That doesn't make any sense. The argument here between Christians seems to be that the other side is misunderstanding God. YEC is necessary, YEC isn't necessary. One's right, the other is misunderstanding.

Moses understood a day to mean a regular 24 hour day, and Christ spoke of Moses' writings as true.

God told Moses that he (God) made everything is six days.

Moses understood those six days to be regular 24 hour days.

There is no difference between Moses misunderstanding an omnipotent, omnipresent, all knowing God (who didn't correct Moses' misunderstanding), and God lying.

Makes perfect sense.
