As many parents are focused on back to school clothes and supplies, the royal Czar Czar prepares to circumvent parental authority and speak directly to our children in one week.
What will he command?
That's a good question that the media won't ask, and one that could easily be answered right now while parents still have time to decide if they need a sitter or not. But like all things Obama does, it's spur of the moment and covert.
We do know that there is a task demand being handed out to Pre-K through sixth graders that includes students writing answers to things like "What is the President asking me to do?", perhaps to make sure the indoctrination has taken or not.
Tasks to be completed after the indoctrination include writing letters about "what they can do to help the president" which are then to be collected and used by teachers to "make students accountable to their goals." Incredible.
We may be able to get a flavor of what will be presented through the NEA union that controls our children with the presentation of the "I Pledge" video shown to children at Eagle Bay Elementary School last week in an assembly. In this video stars "pledge to be a servant of Barack Obama."

I thought the US fought a world war or two to put an end to this kind of stuff.
When I was a kid (about 8) I wrote to the White House and got an autographed photo of Gerald Ford, who was then president, in response. I was thrilled. I would have been thrilled to get an address from Ronald Reagan too.
The problem lies in that it appears from the teacher prep material that Obama is not really just giving the kids a thrill. And now I have the utmost respect for my parents. They did their job in teaching me to be skeptical and that politics DOES matter. Now it’s time for me to do mine and teach my son — of course he already has a love American history and appreciates the sacrafices of so many for the freedoms we have today. He loves the story about the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star Spangled banner. It’s difficult for me to imagine him moved by anything Obummer has to say, but I will see to it that he isn’t.

Their is a bright side to the actions of murderous dictators of the past—they have made it real hard for the would-be dictators of our time. We have something to compare these people to.
Let’s hope the people are ready for a little comparing and contrasting.
I know many find it distasteful to use these evil people to compare 0bama to but I think it is absolutely necessary, healthy, and highly effective in terms of resistance.
To not use monumental precedent to ‘measure’ our leaders is to be IGNORant and risk dark history repeating itself.
And we will be branded the ever accused “racists” if we disapprove because you see, it’s all about empowering young BLACK children that yes they can and won’t we sound evil if we oppose that noble goal??! You must be a racist yourself, anyone who opposes anything He does must be!!

Seeing what is apparently a Who's Who of Hollywood come forth and pledge, I am reminded of the line from The Waste Land: Paraphrasing, "I had not thought (brain) death had undone so many."
