In this 1984 film, G. Edward Griffin interviews Yuri Bezmenov, a former KGB propagandist who defected from the Soviet system. Mr. Bezmenov lays out the modus operandi of Communistic, Fifth-Column infiltration, throughout entire social, economic, and political structures. He describes the four-step process required for bringing down a society and making it socialist:
1)Demoralization ideological subversion and psychological warfare through mass propaganda from the inside;
2)Destabilization of society, in such areas as economy, foreign relations and defense systems;
3)Crisis creation;
4)Post-crisis normalization, under the military boot.
Mr. Bezmenov also goes deep into the horrors of social engineering, paranoia-creation, political persecution, and severe quashing of dissent that characterize Sovietized societies.
The problem is, as Bezemenov said, the system is set in motion and it is self replicating. We have all these contaminate minds churning out new contaminated minds. Even if we do beat it back, what do we do with these people and how do we get them out of these positions of influence?
