President Obama will address a joint session of Congress on Sept 9.
This comes as the White House has been signaling publicly that they are ready to take charge of the health care debate.
So, this settles the 5th of the 5 health care strategy questions I laid out earlier on this blog today. The other 4 remain.

Is he gonna bring the Obamacare Health Insurance card, waive around the veto pen, same as Clinton did in his oh-so-success joint session speech on health care??!! Ooooooooooooh!!
The man is good at giving speeches, which this will be him in center stage, forcing the media to cover and Congress to listen to.
Those that are wavering in the public will be swooning over his rhetoric as they did in the election.
We need to keep after him in the blogs, on the net and in the streets.
All their poll numbers will tank even further that night.
He will warm up with his speech to the students on the 8th and deliver the coup d grace to the Congress on the 9th.
This guy cannot get enough of himself as if anyone really cares about him except to note what the enemy looks like and says.
Obama here is a hint, don’t go away mad, just go away.

Gurantee he starts it off with some such dribble,
I called this Joint Session Of Congress because there is a national emergency. Health care Reform is just too important not to get accomplished.
In other words my Presidency is failing and so I am going all in.
Now you’re addressing the issue I’m interested in: What should the Republican Congressional delegation do? This would be a prime opportunity to make a protest, not just on the issue of Health care and 0’s socialist approach, but to the audacity of dope coming before the Congress and lecturing them, the constant campaign mode, constant media saturation, speeches, appearances, astroturfing, the lying, the ruinous economic policies, etc.
Seriously speaking, no one’s going to do the Joker makeup or labcoats, so what could they do? How could they express the outrage against the abusive excess of this administration in a powerful, visual and dignified way that could not possibly escape media attention?
How about all of them coming in with small Gadsen flags and holding them aloft throughout the speech? When asked for comment, they should be prepared to say: this is about the outrage of the American people at this administration’s government seizure of our liberty. Obama must stop what he’s doing and fulfill his oath to uphold the Constitution.
Oooooooohhhhh. It’ll be 09/09/09...... Spooky.
I take it George Soros is a bit demanding these days.
