I remember dierectly after 9/11, literally within minutes of being attacked, I was planning for the coming war and my part in it when a young man stated that he was very disturbed by all of the talk about war, that we had to understand that these kinds of things make us all “stronger” and that we should not use military force at all just because we were attacked - and bodies were falling out of the NY sky.
My point is that I fear that surrender - or a similar compromise - would be perfectly acceptable to many, many people here.
We also need to plan how to protect ourselves from them.
OMG thousands of Pakistani suicide bombers...lets start strip searching blue haired old ladies and pretty white chicks in their 20’s...must be PC about our priorities.
