This is Romney’s legacy, for all those who supported him.

Great job, guys, you really picked a winner.

Another excellent reason to be armed and shoot them if you have to.

You’ll be quarantined for the flu, but not for AIDS...

Simply for the purpose of correctness, false arrest is a 4th, not a 14th amendment violation.

So sayeth this there civil rights lawyer.

Massachusetts is leading the way with the passage of a new bill, the "Pandemic Response Bill" 2028, reportedly just passed by the MA state Senate and now awaiting approval in the House. This bill suspends virtually all Constitutional rights of Massachusetts citizens and forces anyone "suspected" of being infected to submit to interrogations, "decontaminations" and vaccines.

Too bad they won't subject the homosexual perverts to this law with regard to AIDS, but then, that would be uncharacteristically consistent of the liberals.

HIV and AIDS are specifically excluded from the section on isolation and quarantine:

Section 96. (a) In this section, “isolation” means separation, for the period of communicability,
450 of infected individuals or animals from other individuals or animals in such places and under
451 such conditions as will prevent the direct or indirect transmission of an infectious agent to
452 susceptible people or to other individuals or animals who may spread the agent to others. In this
453 section, “quarantine” means restricting the freedom of movement of well individuals or
454 domestic animals that have been exposed to a communicable disease for a period of time
455 relating to the usual incubation period of the disease, in order to prevent effective contact with
456 those not so exposed. In this section, “disease or condition dangerous to the public health” does
457 not include acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) or the human immunodeficiency
458 virus (HIV).

I can gurantee that they have a provision allowing for seizure of ALL firearms (from infected and non-infected) during the “Emergency”, and that the ATF would come in and help (Just like they did in NOLA until Bush and Gonzalez ordered them to stop.)

I didn’t see anything in this article that is new.

Vaccinations and antibiotics have given us incredible freedom compared to what our ancestors had, vis-à-vis infectious disease. Before vaccines and antibiotics, it was common for homes to be quarantined. I read a school text book from the 40s explaining what quarantine signs look like, and what to do if you were to see one on a friend or neighbor’s home.

Typhoid Mary was imprisoned for decades in the early 20th century to prevent her from spreading typhoid (because she was an asymptomatic carrier).

When diseases such as Ebola, for which there is no vaccine or treatment, break out, whole villages are quarantined.

In earlier parts of American history, it was not unheard of to burn everything associated with a sick person—their bedding, clothes, everything—to prevent the spread of disease.

When the issue is public health and infectious disease, any rights of the infected person go right out the window. In that case, the rights of other people not to be exposed needlessly has always had more weight than the right of the contagious person to do whatever they want. (Unless you’re talking about AIDS, in which case a group favored by the left made an emotional appeal that victims of AIDs should in no way be prevented from spreading the disease, and got their way.)

If it wasn't for the fact that this is for the flu bug, one would think this sounds so much like what will happen when the Mark of the Beast ( 666 ) is forced onto people.
How do we know that no only will there be in that flu shot the actual vaccine, but, a microchip ?
