Just got back from Sacramento & launch of Tea Party Express. Lots of people from the valley with signs about cutting off the water to agriculture for the Delta Smelt. Rousing speeches. Many trucks drove around the capitol complex with signs about cap & trade. Row of tractors from the farms around with signs. My guess: 5,000.

I was there also. I spoke to a police officer and he estimated between 5-10,000. This crowd is bent on getting socialism out of our government. Obama has got to be nuetralized. Congress has to stop this guy if they want to be re-elected.

My mother was telling me about this, today! She said she saw it on FOX. I WOULD LOVE to see that vid!!!!!

I got some pictures and can have them digitally developed (you know Walgreen’s stuff). Maybe I can figure out how to post some tomorrow. I have been looking for other news, but found none yet. Figure everybody who usually does this stuff is on the bus!

my best experience there was with a genteleman with a sign that read ‘50 years with the democratic party and no more!’ another recovering senior citizen beat me to congradulating him; the conversation was great (the Dem party is not the same; remember Germany) until they started talking about guilt about now being racist. Hopefully I put their fears to rest.

I live in the suburbs of Sacramento, I’m sorry I missed it. Some of us have to work, I wish it had been held on Sat., they just would have had to drive faster through Nevada and Utah.

They did a poor job of promotion this time. I went to the Tax Day Tea Party at the Capitol, had a wonderful time. Found out about this about 10 days ago, details weren’t found out until 3 days ago. I was unable to change my work schedule.

I was there in spirit if not in body.

Just curious, did anybody open carry? I don’t mean beer. Again, just curious.
