We’re defending the truth. There is a lot to criticize Bush about, yes. But the Air National Guard issue is pure libel. If we allow the MSM to libel Bush on his service they will stop at nothing, on any issue or person.

i agree with that, just saying he enlisted even though he never would of been drafted cause of his high number.

The draft lottery was introduced at the end of 1969 when GWB was 23, so his high lottery number was meaningless—he would have been drafted already if he had not entered the Texas National Guard.

Bush made a number of mistakes in his second term, but Kerry would have been much worse—Iraq would be a total disaster by now, and there would have been two flaming liberals appointed to the Supreme Court instead of Roberts and Alito.

I voted for Bush eight times.
i wish I could have the last two back.
I would vote for Kerry, in the 2008 general, if I could do it again.
My feeling is that he (Bush) sold me out, in the interest of his
legacy.
His legacy is the ‘’nation-building’’’ in Iraq and
Afghanistan.
I hope the nation building efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan fail.

just my opinion

The only advantage to Kerry winning in 2004 might have been that he would have done so badly that the Republicans would have beat him in 2008...but in addition to letting Iraq turn into total chaos or into a terrorist haven, he would have had 3 Supreme Court picks (since Souter would have resigned before the election). The death toll from Katrina would have been even higher but it still would have been blamed on Bush (for not asking for more money for the levies while President).

“I would vote for Kerry, in the 2008 general, if I could do it again.” [In addition to the specious reasoning, you identified the incorrect date.]

“I hope the nation building efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan fail.” [This ‘hope’ would of course sentence US and Israeli children to perpetual war (with an empowered terrorist enemy).]

These two statements reveal all I need to know about you and your ‘sell out’ ideology. [How many times did you vote for Ron Paul?]

Bush qualified as a combat aircraft commander. Obama qualified as a sissified, elitist, glass-jawed joke. There IS a difference.
