I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the statement “where the majority of American sentiment is on this issue - in FAVOR of health insurance reform.” First, the majority of Americans want these idiots to keep their hands off our health care; secondly, it would be more accurate to call it health insurance destruction. These fools need to at least get their lies straight!

Actually this statement is true. I think I read it is around 70%, but reform is a way different game that changing the model entirely. Even many of 0’s initial items make sense, just not the end game. Thinks like insurance portability, getting rid of those pre-existing rules (because all of us have something pre-existing, just most of us don’t know what it is yet) and things along those lines.
One thing for sure, the repubs need to get out in front with ideas of their own, and not the old free market crap we’ve heard for decades. If they don’t, we will be stuck with dems for a long time. Unless the economy tanks even further of course. That may change things.
Based on pollaganda conducted before people knw what was in the package. Sort of ... "Do you want healthcare for all or are you a sick twisted individual who wants people to die?"
Voila, a polloganda majority for 'universal health care'.
