Hartford, Conn. (AP) -- A spokesman for Alec Baldwin says the actor has no plans to challenge Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman in the 2012 election.
Matthew Hiltzik said Monday that Baldwin does not plan to move to Connecticut or to run. He says the "30 Rock" star wants Lieberman to stay in office because there are so few moderate Republicans in the Senate. Lieberman was re-elected in 2006 as an independent after he lost the Democratic primary.

He says the "30 Rock" star wants Lieberman to stay in office because there are so few moderate Republicans in the Senate. Lieberman was re-elected in 2006 as an independent after he lost the Democratic primary. He's no Republican. Even if he would have run on the McCainiac's ticket, he would've been Republican in Name Only.
He got kicked OUT of the Democrat Party but he is still a loyalist.
Joe Lieberman is not a "moderate Republican".
Keep lying Alec.

I heard Lieberman respond to this. When asked about Baldwin’s potential run he said, “Make my day!”

That’s too bad. I was hoping to see Arec become subject to his own demand for Henry Hyde and his family.
