Whatever sex appeal these women may possess is always canceled out by the grotesque amount of makeup, props and other artificialities required of beauty pageants.

Think about the idea that high heels go with bikinis. That’s just plain stupid. Yet every beauty pageant large and small for the past 20 years makes it plain that the pinnacle of sexiness is high heels and a bikini. That and making insipid and trite statements about world peace.

Also, who decided that the most beautiful women were grossly underweight and had abnormally long legs and necks? Sure, they’re pretty, too but there are plenty of gorgeous women who have more than 4% body fat and are less than 6 feet tall.

Beauty pageant is looking for something normal people rarely have. Standard of beauty may change over time, but on the top level, it has been always extreme.

If food gets scarce, expect voluptuous woman (w/ more body fat) to win pageant. That has been the case until very recently. Fat used to be also prized not shunned, because it is the best for surviving starvation.

Actually I didn’t think she was that pretty, too much of a forehead. I had a friend that would have reffered to her as having a “five head”.

You're right.

I think we should lose the bikini and have 'em sashay out in nothing but heels.
