Wednesday's vote was a prelude to votes scheduled Friday on whether to let people in same-sex relationships serve as Lutheran ministers.This is the beginning of the end for the Lutheran church, IMO. Heretics have taken over; there is no "adult" leadership.

Heretics long ago took over the ELCA, However there are synods that remains true to Christianity - The LCMS, WElS and a few smaller ones. Unfortunately, I’m beginning to think we will have to find something other than Lutheran to call ourselves - I want nothing in common with the ELCA, not even the name.

There is Lutheran and then there is Lutheran. This does not describe all Lutherans.
