Considering his ratings he won't have any problem filling the time. Just no GEICO or P&G. I wonder if we can put enough pressure on the companies to dump the MSNBC programs, since they say they dumped Beck because he was an opinion show now a news show. Use their own tactics to divert P&G's money away from them. And they don't have the ratings to make up the difference. Hit MSNBC and CNN in the bottom line and the Tide will have turned. (pun intended)

I haven’t seen it, either. And speaking of relatives, I took a couple of mine to lunch today. One’s 98, the other 89. Both are in excellent health and good spirits. I didn’t realize it ‘til we got to talking, but the one I thought was still an AARP member actually tore up his card a few years back. I told him he was prescient :)

That is already going on, and in the update that I posted. The boycott is creating unintended consequences and will affect MSNBC and CNN because the companies don’t want to offend either side of the political spectrum with ads.

Walmart has confirmed the retailer pulled ads from the Glenn Beck show on August 3rd. This post at Hotair is just a little misleading. Wal-Mart made a decision on August 3, not to run Walmart advertising in news commentary shows on national cable networks. This would include the Glenn Beck Show.

On the surface to me, it seems like Wal-mart is the most cavalier against Glenn lately and should deserve most of the negative attention.
As HotAir put it: I have to say Im puzzled by Wal-Marts acquiescence in this boycott. Its not Beck fans who picket their stores, demanding unionization and demonizing them for their employee compensation policies. Theyre appeasing the same people who want to drive them out of business.
The SEIU and Wal-Mart have been best friends lately.

Yeah, I don’t know. Maybe that is the case, but Wal-Mart has been a pusher on this health care stuff too. It’s either they are SEIU friendly or they think the Democrat policies will block their competition and benefit their bottom line. I mean when was the last time you heard outrage against Wal-Mart from the left? It has been awhile.
