Childers said he opposes any public funding for abortion and any public health coverage for people who are in the U.S. illegally.

So far, that's a bit better than the RINO's.

What will the Obama freebie voters do when they find out the government is going to FORCE them to PAY for insurance.

If you have a one time window for people to purchase their own private insurance, regardless of Pre Existing conditions, with a mandatory 12 month waiting period for benefits on the PEC, I can see it (although it is wrong). But forcing insurers to pay for care on PEC’s knowingly and permanently will put them out of business.

Its akin to requiring insurers to offer life insurance policies to new applicants who are terminally ill. The purpose of insurance is to protect against a risk. Having a condition already, means its not a risk, its a fact.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Travis Childers says he would not vote for a House health care reform bill in its current form.

I would bet my place in line, to be in line, to see an alternate, student assistant nurses-aide-in-training in our forthcoming healthcare miracle that Mister Childers will cave in like a coward's coward.

House Squeaker Pelosi doesn't want any conscience consultation ruining her reign, and Mister Childers is about to meet Mr. Letsmakeadealthatyouwontrefuse.

Childers said companies should stop denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.

I wonder if he supports this for other type of insurance.

My car has a preëxisting condition: I crashed it. Can I still get insurance?

Can I get life insurance for my spouse? Yeah, he has a preëxisting condition in that he's in the ground...

Back in Washington, he will vote exactly as Nancy tells him to. Blue Dog Democrats are first and foremost DEMOCRATS.

Nope. Even RINOs are against taxpayer funding of abortions. Meanwhile 7 pelosi poodle/blue dogs voted *FOR* taxpayer funding of abortion in HR3200.
Childers is still a Pelosi Poodle.

Childers still votes to keep Pelosi in the Speakership and Barney Frank & Charlie Rangel in Committee Chairmanships.

Good. Although I live in Memphis (TN, of course) I am less that 20 miles from his district and i have been calling his office regularly to let them know that as a retired couple, my wife and I would be spending about 5 days a month knocking on his constituents’ doors.
