No she’s not. The American people (many conservatives) are the driving force. She’s an important spokeswoman but this began before she made a statement. I am a supporter, but I refuse to credit anyone other than the People for the primary role here and I think she’d agree.
As for the GOP, wow, someone realized they are just benefiting by default? Wasn’t sure they were even that self aware. To Kirk, I would state the Republicans have found no voice. You are simply trying to co-opt our own or at least the bits you find “civil”. That would be fine, if I didn’t believe the end you have in mind is a watered down bill which is still objectionable.
Victory is defined as the death of Government taking a role in healthcare. Nothing more, nothing less. Some Republicans need to be educated on that point.
I said she’s the driving public force. I agree it’s the grassroots that is most important, but I meant that Sarah is the face on that.
I think Sarah has been an inspiration to the people. Because if a hockey mom pta member can stand up and confront the corruption in government and the full force of hatred from the national media then anyone can stand up. Of course she didn’t lead this particular movement, but she opened people’s eyes to the fact that you don’t have to be a lawyer or have a political science degree to let your voice be heard. Sarah’s courage has inspired courage.
