August 12, 2009 Welcome to Orange County Republican Party
Fellow conservatives:
The Obama political organization sent out the following email announcing a Town Hall meeting with Representative David Price tomorrow night at North Carolina Central University in Durham. Please see the email for specifics.
Price had not set Town Hall meetings and I think we were all under the impression that he was not holding any.
Representative Price has said he supports Health Care Reform as it is being pushed through the House of Representatives by the Democrats.
Please show up to have your voice heard. Every citizen in Orange County and the Fourth District has the right to attend this meeting.
Be prepared to go early, and be prepared for a crowd.

Robert --
I wanted to send you an urgent invitation to an important health care town hall with Rep. David Price tomorrow evening, Thursday, August 13th. He'll be talking to constituents and gathering feedback -- this is an ideal opportunity to make sure your support for health insurance reform is seen and heard at exactly the right time.
Our congressional representatives are back home this month, and they're facing more and more pressure from special interests on health insurance reform. It's critical that we get out there and show them where we stand.
I hope you can join us in Durham.
What: Health Care Town Hall with Rep. David Price
Where: NCCU Miller Morgan Building 528 Nelson St Durham, NC 27701
When: Thursday, August 13th Arrival Time: 5:45 p.m. Start Time: 6:45 p.m.
Our representatives are under attack by Washington insiders, insurance companies, and well-financed special interests who don't go a day without spreading lies and stirring up fear. We need to show that we're sick and tired of it, and that we're ready for real change, this year.
Please come to the town hall, and make sure that the most powerful voices in this debate are those calling for real reform, not angrily clamoring for the status quo.

Please note the venue has changed!!! They have kept this meeting quiet and do not want anyone opposing Comrade Price to attend. The meeting is now being held at:
Time: Thursday, August 13 from 6:45 PM - 8:45 PM
Host: Organizing for America
Location:
B.N Duke Auditorium (Durham, NC)
1801 Fayetteville St.
Durham, NC 27707
This needs to go viral.
You can bet the media will be there. People need to flood this event. And I mean people that are willing to stand up to this kind bull.
We need to get FOX there.
I will go if I can get off of work at a decent time....
“We solicit the opinions of our constituents, but only if they agree with President Obama.”
A response is not expected.
Just be VERY careful if you plan to go. For those not familiar with the area, NCCU is a historically black college (the alma mater of Duke lacrosse accuser “Crazy” Crystal Mangum) and will no doubt be near-100% fanatic for Obama and Rep. Price. Be ready for anything.

Keep in mind — if they try to prevent you from bringing cameras — that is unconstitutional. Be prepared with the facts.
I replied asking if they have posted an update to the townhall with the new location.
They claim they were unaware the location has changed.
