The Medal of Freedom (in this administration) has little to do with freedom, and everything to do with political pandering. It will mean something in the future, but for now, it’s just leftist PR.
Remember, it is not like the Medal of Honor, it’s simply an award handed out by the Administration. It means as much, or as little, as those that awarded it.
She is perhaps best known for presiding over the 2001 World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa — which targeted the West, especially Israel, while overlooking racism in Arab countries. The conference was so biased the United States and Israel boycotted it.

Methinks that the editors at the NYPost have short memories. Teddy Chappaquiddick is solely responsible for the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. He spent 11 hours consulting with family and lawyers BEFORE ever reporting that his car had gone off the bridge to police. He was more concerned about his political career than the life of the young woman he murdered!!!

This is disgusting, disgraceful and had reduced the prestige of this "medal" to that of junk status such as the Nobel Peace Prize.
