Playing a Doctor at a Townhall
Houston Chronicle Blogs ^ | August 13, 2009 | Rightwingsparkle

I just wanted to make sure that you guys were aware of a little bit of a controversy here in our own little corner of the world in Houston that has been making it's way around the net.

You may have seen on the news last night the rudeness of Shelia Jackson Lee taking a phone call as a citizen was asking a question at her townhall on healthcare, but that's not the controversy....

So, here we have someone asking a question, giving favor in support of the health care bill, posing as a doctor to give more credibility to her support. When in reality she was an Obama delegate and NOT a doctor.

After the plants at Obama's townhalls, and now this, it's beyond amusing and ironic that the Democrats accuse the Tea Parties of being "manufactured."

You guys are shameless.

One needs to remember this is the same lady who asked the NASA guys who were driving the Mars Rover around if they could get it to dirve over to "where the guys left the flag in '68". Not kidding, you can't make this stuff up. The fact she gets re-elected should embarass some folks but it doesn't seem to.

Waiting for the MSM to pick this - and similar stories - up and trumpet it as the pattern of lies and deceit it is..

All this stuff is ultimately sad, but I'm glad it happens in Houston.

There are a lot of people here who are not afraid to speak their mind in opposition. It's a vestige of Southern Pride, I guess. It in turn makes me more bold also, seeing that good folks are willing to risk a physical beatdown from union goons and ghetto thugs in order to let their voice be heard.

Just heard on the radio from a lady at the Sheila Jackson Lee meeting that Obama folks behind her called her and her friends racist because she did not vote for a black president. The lady was irate and ready to go kick butt; she was fuming, and not about to "play nice". I love that about Texas!

The woman was identified as "Dr. Roxana Mayer, a pediatric primary care physician." Turns out, she isn't a doctor at all though. She had identified herself to the Chonicle that way though.

Isn't it illegal in Texas to claim you are a medical doctor if you do not have a license to practice medicine even if you do not actually practice? Someone needs to file a complaint with the district attorney.

For an immoral person truth is a device to be manipulated for personal ends. Rep. Jackson has long been a practitioner of giving lie to the truth. Her demise (and that of others)is an absolute requirement for the salvation of the soul of America.

I am glad to see this story - soon the world will begin to see the many lies created by Union thugs and fake doctors all of whom are members on the DemocRAT insiders. As they see more of this they will KNOW that working for the people is not a part of the RAT party.

I'll say one thing about this health care debate, it has the left using every page of the dims’ playbook. Packing the audience with bussed in supporters from out of state on one occasion.

Using an 11 yr old to ask a question and it turns out her mom donated to Hussein and even had a picture on her MySpace page.

Having union thugs beat up a conservative black man who was opposed to the bill and handing out “Don't tread on me” flags.

Accusing people of lying about the bill, when they haven't ever read most if any of the bill. Saying AARP is in favor of this bill, even though they never said that as a fact.

The problem is that the state run media will do everything to cover for this corrupt administration. IMO, he is making many rookie mistakes, but the American public will never hear it with his friends in the SRM.

CNN did something similar yesterday. Said they had a video from a citizen who was actually reading HR3200 and was going to be doing periodic updates to help us understand what was in it. Lo and behold, she hadn't really come across anything scary or alarming in it.

Then the black anchor asked the other guy who was doing the piece, "Say, do you have a way to keep in touch with Ariana so we can check back with her from time to time?"

(You know, because she's just an average apolitical woman and all.)

Of course, the other guy says, "I'm not sure but we'll definitely try to."

Meanwhile, since I don't believe anything CNN says, I googled Ariana of Marietta, Georgia. Within 5 minutes I discovered she's Ariana Rosas Maxwell, a photographer and mother who just happens to have a blog as she's a self-described political junkie. She's also a Catholic who voted for Obama....and to top it off, she's been a regular i-reporter for CNN since March!

Strange that they didn't recall any of that.

I sent them a nasty e-mail calling them on it.

The left is despicable.
