FWIW, and this may be a small thing to some folks...

Go to any Walgreens, or large supermarket and start reading the labels.

You'll find your candy or cereal or whatever is a 'product of US, Canada & or Mexico'.....or variations of this.

Our beef at Publix (a large supermarket chain in the South) sold their beef as 'product of US or Mexico'....

Many of us loudly objected, and ta da....they've suddenly found those American cows and now it says 'product of USA'...

Thanks. We need to do this with produce as well--especially after the mexican jalapeno disaster.

Saying it was salsa causing deaths----authorities actually destroyed American tomato farmers b/c they were afraid to name Mexico as the culprit.

We want all produce marked with the country of origin.

Do not buy mexican produce or food products.
