MN 2010: Minnesota's Bachmann emerges as Democrats' top target [Krazy Kos Kiddies attack Bachmann]
Politico / The Pioneer Press, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn. ^ | 2009-08-10 | Alex Isenstadt

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is outspoken, conservative, media-friendly — and for many in the Democratic Party, a new public enemy No. 1.

Now that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is out of office, there are few Republican officials in the country Democrats would rather unseat in 2010 than Bachmann, a two-term congresswoman with a habit of pushing the buttons of liberals on everything from ACORN to global warming to even whether President Barack Obama is, as she once asked, "anti-American."

"She's definitely somewhere up there," Bachmann chief of staff Michelle Martson said of where the Minnesota congresswoman sits on the Democratic campaign hit-list.

Bachmann has long been on the receiving end of pointed jabs on liberal blogs like Daily Kos, where one commenter wrote a few weeks back, "After having just returned from a trip to Minnesota, I shake my head that such a beautiful place would be represented by such an ugly individual as Bachmann."

Ask Democratic officials in the state about Bachmann, and they can barely contain their anger.

"She is so principally and diametrically opposed to the core principles that we have," Donald McFarland, a Minnesota-based Democratic strategist, said of Bachmann. "She is further to the right than Attila the Hun."

*sigh* I'm so happy that I made a $200 contribution to her 2008 campaign last October.

Bachmann 2010!

2008 was a terrible year for Republicans - especially in a Marxist state like Minnesota. Bachmann had a good challenger who was well funded, and she committed a gaffe just weeks before the election. The Obama machine turned out Democrats in record numbers. Despite all of that, she still won re-election and hasn’t backed down one bit since then. If she couldn’t be beaten in 2008, she won’t be beaten in 2010, barring some unlikely event.

This lady is probably one of the most honest in Washington. She needs all our support. I hope she just laughs at them.

RATs better start looking at their toilet bowl poll numbers and start packing. Their quest for power and their attempt to destroy our country and our freedom will be stopped by the American people who they show nothing but disdain for.

Their day of reckoning is coming via the American taxpayers in 2010 and 2012.

This is an honor of which she should be proud. It also means she is REALLY, REALLY getting to them. Snort.

Funny, I said something similar about Al Franken. Only I said "stupid" as opposed to ugly (though he is in all aspects).

Correct me if I’m wrong here, But didn’t she vote FOR that idiotic (and dangerous!) FDA “food safety” bill the other week?

After seeing her name of the ‘Yea’ list, that has soured my enthusiasm for her.

Tinklingburg (SP?) has already declined a rematch. They’ll have to find somebody new to run against her.

“Their day of reckoning is coming via the American taxpayers in 2010 and 2012.”

I hear so much about what’s going to happen in 2010 and 2012 and get very worried about the “just wait” mentality that seems implicit in that.

The pace at which things are currently happening is frightening. I fear that we may already be at the point of no return much less what we will look like in ‘10 and ‘12. I know that you’re not saying there’s nothing we can do until that time, but I hope that others are committed to acting now rather than sitting back and saying “just wait”!

Respectfully,

Militant

MINNESOTA DIRECTOR OF AMERICANS UNITED FOR CHANGE DOESN’T “HAVE THE ANSWER” TO WHO FUNDS GROUP

Donald McFarland, the Minnesota Director of Americans United for Change, being asked a question from a reporter on who funds his group. McFarland’s first response is that he doesn’t “have the answer” to who funds his group. Americans United for Change is nothing but a shadowy front group for national liberals and union bosses.

Americans United for Change (AUC) is a 501(c)(4) organization founded in 2005 "to fend off President Bush's top policy priority at the time: privatizing Social Security," its website states. "In 2006, Americans United For Change broadened its scope to build broad public and congressional support for action on a wide range of long-stalled policy issues." [1] AUC is a "liberal, labor-funded group" previously known as Americans United to Protect Social Security, according to FactCheck.org.

the PAC is "part of a coalition of left-leaning groups organized by Americans United for Change that includes labor unions and liberal groups such as MoveOn.org,"

I believe the reality of the loud, emphatic message that “you’re out; start packing” is accepted by the power-hungry, anti-American sewer rats in the Congress, they will be reluctant to continue with the destructivve plot of their leader. They’re Toast regardless.

MSNBC and Powell set her up last year putting words in her mouth than attacking her for it but given she got re-elected last year she will win in 2010 by an even larger margin as the pendulum swings backward.

How about DeMint-Bachmann 2012? that would be one hell of a election.
