Ken Cockrel Jr. is the Detroit City Council President. When they gain control of Conyer’s office, they find that 29 major items are missing - computers, camcorders, etc. The normal capital assets that any business is required to inventory.

Her lawyer laughs at the FreeP when they call asking about it, and have ignored requests from the city on the missing property.

A staffer did return two laptops and a case when requested. Why did she have two work laptops checked out?

It sounds like Cockrel is getting ticked at Conyers (again) for being so stupid as to get caught, and therefore blowing the gig for all of them.

Makes you wonder about the inventory status of ALL long term bureaucrats, everywhere.

As a simple observer, personally, I could not throw Ex-Detroit Councilwoman Monica Conyers any farther than I could throw a Steinway grand piano. She is so totally corrupt, like John, her hubby. The real question is: “When and what did HE know and when did he know it?”
