LEABURG, Ore. (AP) - The Eugene Water & Electric Board plans to shorten the official name of a Leaburg park because the current one includes a torture technique.
The board's switching the name from Lloyd Knox Water Board Park to simply Lloyd Knox Park.
Haha, funny, but this is a political site, not a comedy site.
You must laugh and cry at the same time.....
That is sadly hilarious. Needs a good logo too.
you gotta be joking..right?
It’s pathetic also!
No joke...no satire.
I’d rather be waterboarding.
people ought to go to the next public meeting of those folks and demand they be forced to take an IQ test.
Oh for crying in a bucket.....
Someone is being paid good money for thinking of this, not to mention the cost of reprinting new documents and making new signs.
Where has common sense gone? What has happened to this society?
But didn’t those poor terrorists also suffer a few hard knox?
Think of all those kids that would be ruined for life when they realized they had played in a park that was named after a torture method. Must be something in the city councils water cooler.....
Where has common sense gone?.....
The paranoid radical left in full bloom.....
Newspeak doubleplussgood. Thoughtcrime doubleplusungood.
excuse me i will be right back...going outside to bang head against the wall...
This should be just the start. I say GE should do away with the General Electric Chair-man position! (And not just because the current one sucks!)
Well, Savage said once that the only reason for the current administration is the current high rate of drug use in the voting public.
This could be evidence of that hypothesis
Now if Obama had only thought of changing the name of Gitmo he wouldn’t have to close it and move the terrorists to Michigan. They could call it Camp Obama. That wouldn’t scare anybody except those right-wing wackos.
