That makes me sick to my stomach - I’m almost sorry I spent 24 years defending the rights of idiots like that who would deny the right of Free Speech to others with whom they disagree (which means anyone with more than a grain of common sense). How did we get here? I want my country back!

Thye only way to counter left-wing mob rule is with larger right wing mob rule.

Unless these s.o.b.s face stroner medicine from their opponents, they will continue.

Problem with that is that most conservatives have jobs to support their families, with little to no time left over to attend protests. Unlike most liberals who eat from the public trough.

What you are saying is true. But the time is coming when patriotic Americans will have to put aside their personal interests and needs and follow in the footsteps of earlier American heroes who dumped that tea in Boston Harbor and stood shoulder to should at Lexington and Concord and signed that Declaration.

America is facing an enemy from within that is worse than any enemy we ever faced before.

The government of this country was delivered into the hands of a mystery man with an unknown past and uncertain goals and patrons - a man who has set out on a path to destroy our military, wreck our economy and turn us into a third rate world power.

From my perspective the only hope we have right now is to create an national organization to take over the Republican Party from within and expell the RINOs and their agents like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner who lack the courage and integrity to face off the Bolsheviks int he Democrat Party.

We also need to take back our colleges. TOO LONG have we allowed these radical anarchistic communists on college faculties to spout their anti-American rhetoric and turn decent American kids into the kind of mental zombies who put a creature like the current incumbent in the White House.

And there you have the two forks of the problems confronting us - Bolshevized Educational institutions which produce lawyers, politicians, and journalists who advance their agendas, and a party of “opposition” controlled by a handfull of wealthy, powerful parasites who are yellow bellied dogs when it comes to defending the Constitution they took a vow to uphold and protect, but virtual tigers when it comes to protecting their perks and prerogatives. They are neo-aristocrats, like their counterparts across the isle in the Democrat Party.

I have all confidence that Obama and the Democrat majority are losing the support of the very people who put them in office, but I have NO confidence whatsoever in the current crop of Grassleys, Hatches, Snowes, McCains and Crists to hae the moral courage to take advantage of the opportunity this will provide.

I strongly agree with all you said. From what I’m seeing, the people are showing signs of fighting back (even though Pelosi and the Obamasiah admin are trying to peg them as rabid conservatives). I predict that these protests will grow as more of Obamasiah’s plans are uncovered. What we also need is true conservative leadership in the GOP. I pray that leadership exists, but I’m not yet seeing where.

Well, I guess the only good thing about being unemployed is that conservatives will not have the “have to work to support our families” excuse.

I figure a good number of conservatives are now out of work thanks to the Obama economy. A bunch of out of work conservatives could be a real headache for the libs.

I believe the radical left forgets the true test of toleration, due to their arrogance and bigotry.True toleration means that you may disagree with what a person says, but you will defend to the death his right to say it.I have aquantences and friends who do not like my politics or views, but they allow me those views, because I allow them theirs. We have some rather heated discussions, and more than a few times ,I thought I was going to be harmed bodily, but in the end we agreed to disagree This doesn’t always work with those I know on the left, but it really disarms them

Tolerance requires disagreement. You can’t really tolerate what you agree with because you agree with it, so it isn’t really “tolerance”. The left seems not to understand tolerance at all. To them tolerance is simply what they demand of others for their pet issues. It is a word they use to bully.

Forgets? They never believed in freedom of speech. They believe in what Herbert Marcuse called "Repressive Tolerance". Essentually, in a capitalist society the voices of the oppressed (the proletariate, minorities, cultural dissidents) are supressed and marginalized by free speech. This "repressive tolerance" must be destroyed by favoring the oppressed and handicapping the oppressors. Only when the oppressed are permanently ascendant and politally away (ie led by the vanguard) is there true tolerance.
If you think this is an insanse appropriation of language, you are correct. Of course Marcuse, like many of the Frankfurt School taught at Columbia.

I was one of the people who brought the Minutemen to Columbia and warned the student organizers and security. Despite paying for heavy security, the guards were mia and the stage side doors were not properly secured. Also, Columbia security prevent students from helping to guard the frontal approach to the stage.

“What we also need is true conservative leadership in the GOP. I pray that leadership exists, but I’m not yet seeing where.”

It doesn’t exist. We have to put it back there.

When Reagan took the Presidency years ago, a whole crop of RINOs were flushed out of office - among them Frank Church of Idaho or Montana. We need a similar ballot box cleansing and it won’t happen unless we ORGANIZE and start campaigning for and paying fof conservatives to drive rats like Arlen Spector out of the party and show Chrissie Whitman and her bagman Lewis Eisenberg, it isn’t “their party” anymore. Let them party with the Democrats where they belong.

The Left does not tolerate dissent.

They do not tolerate open debate.

They didn’t even tolerate the GOP meeting to select a presidential candidate. A Code Pinko infiltrated the televised convention and interrupted McCain’s acceptance speech from seats near the podium.

When Americans threw out Democrat leadership of Congress in 1994, a Canadian tv newsman, Peter Jennings, said that the country had thrown a temper tantrum.
