Vehicles could go to the poor. Why does Obama hate the poor?
Working poor, thrifty people, kids all need a supply of free market used vehicle that are safe, affordable, and have years left in them.
Further, this program requires the destruction of good running engines.....and transmissions.
These would of normally be used, frugally and environmentally. to the end of their life, or salvaged and been a good source for economical replacement parts for otherwise good cars that just happen to need an engine, transmission, or other parts.
Another salvage would of been when these engines are final worn out, they would be sent to re-builders and recycled into auto parts stores and dealers as new ‘re-manufactured’ engines, transmissions and parts.
These expensive and costly parts, the foundation of a strong used parts market, and environmentally and thrifty remanufactured supply parts business, employing legions of working class tradesmen, mechanics, small business...is all gone.
This is just like what the left does in housing. Tear down, low cost, non taxpayer built, private housing, aka ‘slums’, and then build a few, but not enough, expensive ‘low income’ housing that is taxpayer paid and taxed, naturally, and given to just a few lucky or politically correct winners.
Meanwhile the number of houses has gone down, and the remaining ones increased and homeless industry gets a boost, which causes taxes to be increased to support government low income houses, support the new homeless that were all previously taken care of, just as well, if not better under the free market clunker/junker homes/neighborhoods.
The money's going to the car companies - 2 that are "owned" by Obama...
