Obama is a master BS’er that fools most of the people most of the time. However, sooner or later he will talk BS on a subject that a person knows a lot about and his credibility goes into the bed pan. In the long run he will end up being able to fool very few people some of the time, but it is just a matter of time.

The subject of health care is something that many, many people know plenty about as customers (patients). Thus, Obama and the Dems have found BSing their way through this phony “crisis” with promises to lower costs and improve care exceedingly difficult. People know better. Credibility lost is twice as hard to gain back, and trying to BS your way back to credibility is a sure-fire recipe for breeding cynicism and deep distrust.

"I think they’re smokin crack across the pond"

The government is medicating the government cheese they hand out. It's going to really be a shocker to all those Brits being wooed by their government controlled media and feeling secure in their socialist safety nets when it all comes crashing down, which is already happening but they just don't know it. Plus they are only one or two elections away from a complete change of venue- when the Muhammadans take over complete control of government and put all those Dhimmi's to work so they can pay the required Dhimmitude tax, while they become second class citizens in their own country.

Best it is written like an adult or you prove the point of the article.

That's always a problem people whose whole life is based on lies have. sooner or later they contradict themselves because they can't remember all the lies they have told, and their media control people aren't always around to make sure they don't trip over their own tongue.

You'd think the RAT's would have learned this lesson with John F('n) Kerry, whose life, just like like Obama's is a complete fabrication.

Makes you wonder if all Democrats are complete frauds.

So what was so “lunatic” about Steelfishes posting this article, and post (#1) your post refers to that deserves your lecture on posting etiquette?

Obama is an elitist and this is more about elitism than racism. That's why they had to stage the backyard beer summit, to make Obama seem just like a regular Joe.

Officer Crowley was the only regular Joe at the table with the 3 elitist snobs. Mr. "You don't know who you're dealing with" Gates, Barack "I don't need to prove I was born in America" Obama, and Joe "I used to hang out at Home Depot" Biden all hold themselves above the typical (police)man on the street. They need those little people to think they're just regular guys.

It's not working. The American people aren't buying it any more. Barack lost more votes with the "stupidly" worded answer than anything he has done in office so far. A lot of police officers, their families, and their non-elitist friends are not on his side anymore.

What a pile of rubbish!

In recounting the Gates story he conveniently fails to mention that Barack said he “didn’t know the facts of the case, but the police acted “stupidly”.

He summarizes Obama’s vision as:

“He wants universal healthcare for Americans, progress against climate change, reconciliation with Muslims, disengagement from Iraq, a tougher line towards Israel, a new deal for Afghanistan, a more enlightened America and revival of the global economy.”

Well guess what, bozo, Americans don’t want universal health care like the putrid system you have to put up with, we don’t want our lives controlled in the name of some bogus science called “global warming”, we don’t want a tougher line toward Israel, and we sure as hell don’t want to submit ourselves to Islam and Sharia law like it’s happening to you. You like to surrender your freedoms - WE DON”T!!!

If you like his vision, we’ll be happy to turn him over to you.

The author refers to “right-wing Democrats” - a species that does not exist. The article is not worth reading.

But you forget that Britain merely reverted to form: prior to 1940-—and especially in the 20s-—Britain was decidedly left, its intellectual class full of eugenicists and big-government types like Keynes, and completely appeasement oriented. Thatcher was an anomaly. Britain’s 20th century character has been left to extreme left.

Its already happening, my wife was a custodian at a local school through a secondary contractor, she lost her job when the school district decided to not renew the contract and who they hired is a bunch of Russian immigrants.

She finally found another job at half the wages in a wholesale food center as a checker.

Being white, and over 50 appears to be the target group to “kick off to the side” as disposables and bring in foreigners to work at lesser wages but full benefits, get them ingrained into being institutionalized like loyal worker bees.

“Just goes to show how warped the minds of social-Democrat moonbats really are. They are so miserable and envious of those who succeed, they would destroy everything just to make everyone as miserable as they are.”

Misery loves miserable company.

I saw this same article in the Daily Mail website. I left this comment:

Dear Mr. Hastings:

I enjoy reading your columns but unfortunately you must of drank the Obama “Kool Aid” . Obama is like one of those infamous cads from an Austen novel, a la Willoughby or Wickham. His first impression is indeed very impressive. But only after a first few months in office the true Obama has revealed himself. His agenda is about taking individual freedom and transfering control of our lives to bureaucrats and politicians in Washington. His advisors are political “take no prisoners” thugs from Chicago, for the UK readers one of the most politically corrupt cities in the US. He rheoteric says one thing but his actions say the opposite.

PS: Im regards to health reform helping the poor. About half of overall medical spending in the US is from the gov’t for the poor and elderly. As a percentage of national income this government component is comparable to what the UK spends on the NHS.

Most of the comments left have more sense than Mr. Hastings.

I disagree. Blacks and minorities got him in office [among other things] .... he already has 97% approval with blacks. It just increased.
