Sorry about losing power. It is a pain when that happens.

Losing power is bad enough..........losing the phone lines when you're on dialup is even worse. The phones went out shortly before 9 this morning.......Thankfully we had actually planned a day at the beach, so no phone or computer access really didn't matter too much. We got home shortly after 9 this evening and had phone service. YIPEE!!!

I have finally realized how easy it is to tell the locals from the vacationers/tourists here on the Shore. I can be on a beach on the Chesapeake Bay or the Atlantic Ocean in 20-30 minutes and today is only the 2nd time I've been to the beach this summer. And both times were because we went with a FReeper friend from Maryland and her family who have places at one of the campgrounds on Chincoteague.

I’m hoping that’s a good sign.

My fingers and toes are crossed for you :)

Next step after that is getting my life back... and a firearm. :-)

That would be the best option. We’re stuck with the fireproof safe for the house.
