Some Muslims have refused to use alcohol-based hand gels to combat the spread of swine flu because they claim it is against their religion.
Some of those employed by St Albans Council in Hertfordshire have complained about the antibacterial lotion, which is considered a key strategy in containing the virus.

This is idiotic. Do they not understand the difference between consuming alcohol and using it for medicinal/cleansing purposes?
The problem is they're putting others at risk because of their stupid misunderstanding of their own religion.
Someone should tell them any product that contains sugar will have some alcohol in it. As do all leavened breads and grains.
So, when we hear about the epidemic of serious infections in all of the British public hospitals (and I believe maggots in one of them), you can think about the lack of sanitation being used in these hospitals in the name of political correctness.

Not really....the muzzies won’t the the flu shot because it is for the “swine flu” and has the word “swine” in the name... So everyone else get the shot. Let the muzzies die from the flu. Problem of the muzzies solved. The don’t take care of themsleves...they die....we take the shot and use alcohol to clean our hands, we are okay. Ad avoid the Muzzies during flu seasons, and known outbreaks.

When I was a kid doing dirty mechanical work, I’d sometime wash my hands in full strength chlorine bleach if I needed to clean up. Maybe that would work for them.
