Did he fight for right of the scumbag husband to be free of the inconvenience of having a wife who had be fed through a feeding tube or against it?

Either way, I'd like to sit in on the conversation she's having with him right now.

“...after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer,...”
Almost certainly a death sentence. Isn't that what Patrick Swazee has?

Karma has nothing to do with DU.

If you want to emulate those simpletons, be my guest.

Just expect me to be there to tell you that you are acting EXACTLY as they do.

I've come to a sad realization of sorts over the 5 years that I've been a member here and that is Conservatives and Liberals are, at their base, two sides of the same coin. Comments like yours sadly illustrate the point for all to see.

OK everybody. Before you post an opinion, you should check with MikeFromOhio first. If he approves - go for it. If not, keep those fingers away from the key board.
Got it?

In my opinion (and I sure hope MikeFromOhio approves), I think , compared to Terry, this guy was able to take the easy way out. I find it odd how hard he fought to end anothers life , yet fought just as hard to save his own.

Ironic, isn't it?

Yes, it is ironic, and I agree with you.

I have seen many people die of pancreatic cancer, and it is a horrible way to go. I hope that they were able to make him comfortable before he passed. Prayers up for his family. Rough time for all his loved ones.

I used no bad language. I did not show hate. I wondered about his end, and how it compared with that of Terry Schiavo.

If that’s all you have, it’s pretty weak.

And expected.

I didn't ask that the post be removed, someone else did.

However, the same kind of callousness has been shown by the left for several decades and your comment illustrated that it also lives on the right wing as well.

And here we are what, 3 weeks from some liberal painting the entire right wing as a bunch of racists because of ONE thread??

But way to take me out of context - oh wait, that a pretty common tactic around here isn't it? Again also like DU. Man those coincidences are piling up aren't they??

What's ironic is that you are taking pleasure is another person's death and his family's pain. Very Christ-like right there. Hey now that's the kind of Christian fellowship I'm going to show my daughter and raise on....and on a Sunday too.

Yes - that’s what Patrick Swazee has. It’s usually a very quick parting from this earth. Most patients are diagnosed very late in the game.
