Can we say “backpaddling”?
Obama said in his surprise appearance :" Uhm, the fact that this has become a big issue is indicative of the fact that you know, uh, race is still a troubling aspect of society.
Again bring the race issue up, on purpose.
I have been posting and posting that since the beginning. I think this incident was all planned by Zero and his friend Gates for several reasons.
We all noticed that there is not an apology at all from O. Just more of the same mention of racial problems. And only to keep that in the forefront.
This was a report of a crime that the police responded to and was not a racial incident until Gates tried to make it so by his comment.
If, indeed, there had been anything racially based concerning answering the call for police, and the police had not have gone to the house of a black person to help them regarding a break in, then they could complain about some racial aspect and said that the Blacks don't get the same protection as the Whites.
But the police went there to help -- and Gates acted just as Obama and he had planned in order to bring the race issue up again and just to fan the flames.
It also makes the "bros" and "home boys" more inclined to demand their right to government health care...after all, they are "entitled," and feel the whites want to stop the bill for getting health care nationalized because the poor blacks would have equal health care opportunities.
This whole Gates situation was meant to indirectly make the issue of health care one that the Black population would now push harder for, just as they did to get Obama elected. He needs them to pay attention and create pressure. So this was planned to wake them out of their summer slumber and get them back into fighting in his corner. IMHO, of course.
