Black officer at scholar's home supports arrest

A multiracial group of police officers on Friday stood with the white officer who arrested a prominent black Harvard scholar and asked President Barack Obama and Gov. Deval Patrick to apologize for comments the union leaders called insulting.

Obama said Wednesday that Cambridge police "acted stupidly" during the disorderly conduct arrest of his friend, Henry Louis Gates Jr., in his own home near Harvard University. Gov. Deval Patrick said Gates' arrest was "every black man's nightmare."

I feel sorry for this woman. She did what I hope we all would do, look out for possibly criminal activity and report it to the appropriate authorities. She was only trying to protect her neighbors (Gates included) and her neighborhood. It's only a matter of time until she's painted as a racial profiler.

Hussein came to this press conference believing completely that he could get away with criticizing the police, calling the white officer a racist and increasing his “street cred”. He figured his media lackeys and worshipers would protect/cheerlead/provide cover and even drop the story should it somehow become a problem. He is undoubtedly astounded that the wholly owned Hussein media has hammered him as it has (that is, presented the truth). It will be fun to watch him eventually throw his “friend” the professor under the bus when the heat becomes a bit too uncomfortable.
