According to a Japanese news agency, Toyota is pulling up stakes at its Fremont, Calif., factory, known as NUMMI. This is the plant that was jointly run by Toyota and GM before GMs bankruptcy filing this summer. The Detroit-based automaker decided NUMMI where it built the Pontiac Vibe alongside the Toytoa Matrix and Corolla was not integral to its future. NUMMI employs 4,700 people and is the only U.S. Toyota plant with UAW employees.

The neo-commumist Obama/Democrat Party regime will next be targeting the agricultural sectors of the American economy. Along with their cohorts in PETA and the global warming scam kooks, I think they will try to demonize farming and livestock production (cattle, pigs, chicken, turkeys etc.) in order to seize control of food production in America. There may not be any hamburger flipping jobs left after these commies have their way. Yeah, soup lines and food panics, the Democrat Party's dream come true. These people are still wishing for and want to re-live the good old FDR depression days.
So I guess california is just that much closer to reaching their 90% reduction goal of 1990 emissions.
