The White House tried Thursday to calm a hubbub over President Barack Obama's comments about a white police officer's arrest of a black scholar near Boston, saying Obama was not calling the officer "stupid."

Sorta like, Obama isn’t stupid, just that his socialist agenda is stupid. Right.
And sometimes, the interviewer tells him “what he meant”,
like, “my Muslim faith”...
But Obama really didn't mean any of that...nothing to see here...
Rush just said that Obama should have just kept his mouth shut...this was not presidential and reveals his ACORN background.
It means they wore their uniforms in a stupid manner and their police car was uneducated.
There's that overused phrase again. Now let me be clear, Obama and his cronies are full of crap.

So I guess Gates and Obama would agree that the next time the police observe a person (especially if black) breaking into a home they should just keep driving right? Because obviously they own the house...right?
Just heard another bite of ‘bammy’s speech -
something about the officer handcuffing the guy behind his back at first, until “the African American officer showed mercy” and changed the cuffs to the front.
Yeah, the white cops were brutal, but the black cop showed mercy on a brother.
This stuff is just sickening.
What’s next? All persons locked up in US jails are political prisoners???
Obama did not say that the officer was “stupid”. Obama said “the Cambridge police acted stupidly”. No real difference but the White House statement is factually correct.
This administration, and dems in general, are all about half-truths, spin, and misrepresentation.
My wife objects when we are driving and I call another speeding or tail-gating driver a “moron” or an “idiot”. So now I make her laugh by saying “look at that guy. Although he is not a moron, he seems to be acting in a moronic manner.”
What we saw and heard last night was a snippet from the years Obama spent with the Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers crowd. Actually, it was a glimpse of the real Obama.

Clearly Gates did not observe these simple rules.
Actually, it appears from this photo that Gates was already cuffed in the front while he was still on the porch with the white officer, and the black officer was down on the sidewalk.
Yeah, the stupid one was Obama.

I’m not the smartest guy in the world but I knew when he was running for president that:
He’s a racist
He’s a Marxist
He’s an amateur
He’s a local thug , conman at best
That he will try to destroy America and rebuild it in a radical ,leftist image.

But, 0bama, for all his claims to not know the details,

The only appropriate response would have been “that is a local matter and you’ll have to take it up with the folks in Cambridge”.

I believe one of them was standing outside of a polling place in PA last November.
Of course not. He was calling him a racist because he responded to a crime call of a house being broken by two black guys. The house happened to be owned by a black man. So instead of getting praise for doing his duty, he was insulted.
Maybe on second thought the cop was stupid, he should have walked away since it was a black on black crime.
But on third thought, if the police didn't respond, they would have been accused of racism. So it's racism if you do and racism if you don't. I love it when a plan comes togther.

See, this is why I never watch 0bama’s press conferences, I prefer to wait a couple of days for them to tell me “what he actually meant”.
You didn’t miss anything. My husband and I couldn’t understand what he was talking about. Even Bill O’Reilly said he didn’t even know what Obama said. Robert Gibbs trying to explain what Obama meant is laughable.
They cuffed him in the standard manner until he calmed down a little and claimed that he couldn’t walk without his cane. At that point, they recuffed in front and got the cane for him. His ‘handicap’ doesn’t seem to be hampering him at the moment depicted in the photo.
Rush just said that Gates and his driver were trying to break into the house with a crow bar.

It’s probably not very p.c. to say this but...Gates looks very gay in those handcuffs while being led away.
If you mean Gates, he wasn't the owner of the house. He's the tenant of a house rented by the University. That, in itself, would have contributed a little bit of difficulty to the problem of trying to figure out who this guy is and does he really belong here. They had the University cops come over to sort it out.
Probably had a busload of liberals in there voting and afterward he left to get another load; and another ACORN rep took his/her place. They were everywhere and they are the reason this amateur is in the White House. It’s a disgrace.
Obama should have just used the word RACIST. That is what he meant.
I am still waiting to hear the nasty things being said in front of Secret Service agents by the Obamas that caused one of them to complain ..and get fired.
Crowley said he called the campus cops to back him up more than to verify identity; a maintenance man arrived in the same time frame who knew Gates and I.D.’ed him.
From that point on residency was not in the equation; it became a clash of egos, made worse by a growing audience.
This set race relations back 50 years among the crusaders.

I think you may be right. When all else fails, claim people are against you because you’re black, not because you’re a Marxist thug, trampling on our liberty!
I hope more folks are starting to see that all this catering and kowtowing has gotten nothing but resentment out of the “black community”.
