New research debunks Rosslyn legend and finds Ayrshire had highest concentration of Templar properties Ayrshire's Kilwinning is a possible location for the Grail
'It is notable as the home of Freemasonry in Scotland but Kilwinning may have a more illustrious claim to fame, as the resting place of the Holy Grail.
According to new research by AJ Morton, an authority on masonic history, the town housed a community of Knights Templar in the 14th century who may have possessed the cup used by Christ at the Last Supper.
According to Christian mythology, Joseph of Arimathea received the Grail from an apparition of Jesus and entrusted it to the Knights Templar, who brought it to Britain. Some accounts suggest it was buried in a secret vault in Rosslyn chapel, Midlothian.
However, Mortons research suggests that, if the Grail exists, it is more likely to have been buried in Kilwinning or Irvine. He has unearthed land records showing 200 Templar properties in southwest Scotland in the 14th century, 30 of them in the Cunningham district of Ayrshire.'

Whatever happened to the supposed ‘unveiling’ of the Ark in Kenya recently? Did it ever happen?
A Grail? We’ve already got one - it’s very nice!
I would imagine it could be anywhere.
Arthur: “We seek the Holy Grail, have you seen it?
French: “We have already got one! It’s varrrrry nice”!
The Holy Grail was never lost. It is now known as the Sancta Caliz, and is in the Cathedral of Valencia, Spain. That Cathedral was reclaimed from the moors (”black knights”) during the 13th -century reconquista. The legend of eternal life and magical powers come from, respectively, a Moorish misunderstanding of the Christian doctrine of the Resurrection for those who receive the blood of Christ, and a series of paintings in southern France (where Graal is a local dialect’s word for “chalice,” wherein the chalice is shown with a halo, misinterpreted as a magical glow.
(Interestingly, at the time of the Reconquista of Valencia, there was a British King named Arthur, living in exile in Brittany, France, ruling the British-held continental lands, including the island of Avalon. British history recognizes John as rightful king, but the Catholic Church recognized Arthur.)
