The fact that grabs me is that if government run Medicare and Social Security is near bankruptcy, why should we trust another gigantic program to it? The illegal aliens and other new immigrants who apply for SSI as their big toe hits the mainland are cleaning up big time while those of us who have paid into these programs for many years may be cut off at the pockets if this monstrosity passes.
It wasn’t easy for me to let him dominate my family room for an hour either. But I rather think that he did himself more harm with his ten minute meandering answers to sometimes inane questions. I understand the people who question him at Town hall meetings are usually people involved in his campaign. In other words they are carefully selected plants!
