His response, when read, is an obvious vapid pile of nothing. The problem is, it sounds like something in the spoken word. It has the right linguistic structure, but no content. These people are NOT stupid - they have studied the most successful propagandists of (recent especially) history, from Stalin’s minions, to Goebbels, to LBJ, to Hannity (sorry folks, but he plays the same sly word games too), to Obama. Goebbels and LBJ take the cake - I think because, shriveled as they are, Gibbs et al actually have something resembling souls.

He's not bright enough to play word games. He's just a speak and spell.
Honestly, we all laugh at TOTUS because he can't speak extemporaneously, but Hannity also has a written notecard setpiece that he goes from, even in interviews, and regardless where the conversation goes he's reading it verbatim--unable to adapt to the convo.
