The ill-prepared, emotional questioner failed in her attempt to corner the Congressman. She should have asked if Obama is a natural born citizen which is the Constitutional requirement to hold the office of the President. Such a question would have, perhaps, elicited a different response from Castle.
Frustratingly, for all her passion, she missed a golden opportunity here.

What the Supreme Court did NOT say or do is this: It did NOT order the public to vote for Obama in 2012 now that it decided not to hear the case, because it obviously cannot order voters on how to vote.
1. My point is this: Come the 2012 presidential campaign, if Obama keeps stonewalling on the issues of the release of his Hawaii long form birth certificate and the release of his college records from Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard, then it is safe to say that Obama may not even win in the Democracti primaries, and he will surely have a very, very difficult time being elected president a SECOND time.
2. Think about this: The former community organizer-state senator will not get a free pass this second time around come the 2012 presidential campaign, because the Supreme Court will not be able to help him this time.
3. 2012 voters will jump all over Obama about his long form Hawaii birth certificate: "Where's the birth certificate?" will greet Obama everywhere he turns.
4. Sad for Obama is this: The Supreme Court won't be there to protect candidate Obama from angry American voters who demand to see his Hawaii long form birth certificate, because American voters will demand to know once and for all if the term "African" is how the 1961 birth certificate classified Obama's Kenyan citizen father, Barack Obama.
5. And, finally, if the Obama camp thinks for one minute that it is going to get away with just displaying a short form Hawaii birth certificate on some "fight the smears" website like it did during the 2008 campaign, then Obama's camp is in for a rude awakening, because an Obama short form birth certificate displayed on the internet will only outrage the public in 2012.
6. So, if I were Obama, I would not even think of displaying on the internet a Hawaii short form birth certificate where Obama's father is listed as "African."
I have never been asked to produce a birth certificate to apply for a job. I have never heard of such a requirement, unless the job involves an SSI government clearance which even Obama, as a US Senator or POTUS would not be required to obtain. Only people working on secret programs for the DOD are required to produce long form birth certificates, or other individuals working in highly classified areas of the government a civil servants or military personnel. Again, Presidents and Senators are not required to obtain such secret clearances and are waived of such background checks.
Yes. And this issue, which I have been following closely since June of 2008, has now become almost surreal. Only because it has taken on a much larger scale after Obama has assumed office of the President. I never would have believed that this issue would not have been resolved prior to the election. It seems to truly be taking on an almost historical aspect, with the only seemingly possible conclusion being that he was not born on U.S. soil. We very well may witness the greatest scandal to date in our government’s history.
The media (not just the Liberals) are notorious for not understanding the law. She probably thinks the Constitution simply requires the President to be a citizen.
Has anyone ever looked up Obama’s parents’ marriage certificate?

1. What kind of jobs are you talking about?
2. College: Did you attend one or more colleges? Did you have to present a birth certificate when you applied to undergraduate or graduate school?
3. Maybe we should change the law in each state: If you want to run for Senator or Representative, you must ATTACH/STAPLE a birth certificate to your application/eligibility form, where it becomes part of the public record and anyone can examine it who wants to.
4. NOTE: I guess that you have never played Little League or high school sports, because Little League and most high schools require a birth certificate before a person is declared eligible to play.
Bottom line: Our elected officials are too cowardly to push the issue because they’re afraid if the usurper is booted out of office it will ignite race riots nationwide

Simple and easy: “I support that any candidate for President of the United States be constitutionally eligable to serve in that office, and should have to make proof of that avaible to the voters, Congress, and the courts”..doesn’t even need to mention Obama!?
Maybe he was born in Hawaii? Maybe he wasn’t? Let’s just put the issue to rest. Produce the damn birth certificate!

Attended a private Engineering University in upstate N.Y. Never required to produce a B.C.
I do agree that the B.C. is required for various city league sports - my kids needed theirs to play.
And every state SOS should be held by law to obtain verifiable proof of natural born citizenship for every Presidential candidate for all ballots in their state.
