I had a discussion today with a very left wing liberal and the reason he wants socialist health care is that he stupidly thinks that his employer will give the extra money difference if he switches him to the socialist health care plan which he admits that it is a very bad quality plan but for him it is worth taking it because he will get thousands of dollars more form his employer for the difference money between his current private health care plan and the socialized health care.

I told him that first of all you are going to pay thousands of dollars more in taxes for this crappy socialized health care and second your employer like all employers are not going to reimburse you the money they save by switching from private health insurance to socialized health care.
