The Census Bureau today is reporting what Minnesotans have long known and can be proud of: Minnesota's citizens consistently lead the nation in casting their ballots.
Newly released census figures show that in the 2008 presidential election, Minnesota and the District Columbia led the nation in turnout with 75 percent. The national average was 63.6 percent.
For the nation as a whole, about 131 million people reported voting in the 2008 presidential election, an increase of 5 million from 2004.
The increase included about 2 million more black voters, 2 million more Hispanic voters and about 600,000 more Asian voters, while the number of non-Hispanic white voters remained statistically unchanged.

MN, the State from ACORN!
Any reports on how well the breathing impaired vote turned out?
And they “elected” Al Franken. Just goes to show there are more idiots per capita in Minnesota than in most other parts of the country.
just packing the polling places to cast their ballot for Franken-stein
How many of those were alive, and showed up at the polls to vote?
Just over 100 percent turned out.
Be PROUD, MInnesota... you had some towns even had MORE VOTES than they did VOTERS!!!
Never ceases to amaze.
How many voted from the grave? How many were illegal? How many voted 30 times? How many were bussed in from other states? How many were criminals? How many were in Alzheimers units?
I have lived in Minnesota my entire life.
My presidential vote has never counted for anything in the electoral college. Even the votes for Reagan.
**The increase included about 2 million more black voters, 2 million more Hispanic voters**
And the RACIST LEFT vote was well demonstrated too!

Breathing-impaired voters? Seriously, not many?
But there were a lot of common sense-impaired voters who showed up at the polls.
Seriously? No locations where voter turnout>number eligible voters?
Yep, there were twice as many votes as there were registered voters.
Perhaps, but not ten million dead voters all voting for Obama.
LOL....you a freak man......eheheheh....ROFL
MN has the laxest voting qualification rules in the country.
- Same day registration.
- No ID required; just have someone vouch for you (yes, really).
Of course not. Voters exceeding the population by 2:1 might embarrass even the DNC.
