Yup. I’ve referred to the architecture as “Modern Soviet.” The poured-concrete would’ve deadened the noise, but sadly for you the windows were manufactured in the Gulag.

I would ask them for a specific room...one ending in 01,02,15 or 16, because those were the ones as far from the tracks as possible. There are not a lot of hotel options in that area and I'm please I no longer have to call on that client.
