Just a few months ago, Google returned gazillions of hits on Diebold voting irregularities, many articles that now don’t show up. Smartmatic appears to be the culprit in Honduras.
It appears the complaints still abound about all the electronic voting methods and suppliers.

Right out of the chute, Obama’s reaction was to condemn Honduras for its “coup” and demand that it reinstate the crook. Oops.
Finally, there is something in recent memory for which Obama can deliver a heartfelt apology to the world, for having been so wrong and for having offended a nation far less powerful than the US. Finally he can show us how humble the messiah can be, to admit personal wrongdoing against a less powerful, Third World nation.
Any day now.

Coming soon to the United States. Already was here on November 4, 2008. The machines were then sent to Chavez who forwarded them to Honduras.

Next, people won't have to show up to have their votes counted. This would save gasoline and reduce their carbon footprint.

One of the district attorneys that participated in the operation that took place this Friday showed reporters an official voting result from the Technical Institute Luis Bogran, of Tegucigalpa, in which the specific number of people that participated in table 345, where there were 550 ballots, 450 of which were votes in favor of Zelaya's proposal and 30 were against, in addition to 20 blank ballots and 30 ballots, which were nullified. LBJ looks up at Honduras from wherever he is, grins, and asks, "Did the 550 folks show up in alphabetical order?"

So will the OAS reverse it’s stance favoring reinstatement of Zelaya or will the OAS take the certified results of the election yet to be held as confirmation with the will of the people is being thwarted?

So anything that dirties the images of socialists trying to topple democracies republics in our hemisphere they are going to "spike". Demoncracy is what the "cheater" was touting. Elections decide everything, by simple majority. Not so in a Republic, where government has rules it must live by, and it's powers are limited to those granted by it's founding documents. In the case of both Honduras and the US, a Constitution.

Id say the Honduran Congress and Supreme Court would be very reasonable to issue a shoot on sight order for Zelaya. While it would be reasonable, in a Constitutional Republic, like Honduras, even scum like Zelaya get due process. So, charges and a trial first, then shoot him.
The trial will not be lengthy, as long as they keep Jimmah Carter and the Reverend Jaackson away from it.
Unless of course he gets shot while "resisting arrest". Then, no trial.
