That’s what bugs me, rather saddens me.

They have access to the same stuff we do now because of the net and now we can see how selective they are.

Used to be the role of the “news” media was to keep a citizen well informed and uptodate on significant events around the world.

That has been replaced by a self imposed dictum what the people want to hear, hence the 24/7 coverage of selective topics, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.
