The story certainly suggests that these clowns aren't exactly model citizens (the theft charges).If that's true then this seems more likely to be a case of two punks doing what punks do best rather than drunken sailors getting what they deserved or,worse still,something connected to politics.

Punks can be found everywhere...including in civilized countries like Australia,the US,the UK,etc.

Hopefully the sailors didn't suffer any lasting harm.

Thanks for the update. “unlawful wounding” ? WTF is that? It sounds like the perps jumped the unsuspecting sailors, and tried to do all the damage they could until the were challenged. Hopefully these punks will be punished appropriately and not let off the hook. If you hear how this turns out, let us know.
