Palin Vs. Kerry (And MoveOn.org)

The fact that Kerry responded to Palin’s op/ed by blogging on the HuffPo says a lot about him, and none of it good. The HuffPo is where so many of the deranged hang out, like the talentless hacks Geoffrey Dunn and Shannyn Moore, whose only claim to fame is that shey have spend months attacking Palin, and spreading rumors and outright lies.

It’s great to see the IBD come to her defense, and at the same time slam Kerry, and moveon.org. IBD has a circulation of about 250,000, too bad the Wall Street Journal doesn’t have the insights that IBD has.

No matter how detestable and vile I find Mr. Kerry, the limits to which are exceeded only by the moderator's rules, I cannot lower myself to talk about his sexual life.

I wonder if the Kerry's view, the one which would have been obstructed by wind generators, is the same as fellow Cape Cod resident, Presidential Science Adviser and Thersa Hines Professor of Science Policy at the Kennedy School, John Holdren? I suppose you could assume a conservationist would want to conserve views. After all, the view is non-renewable.

You hit the nail on the head. One of the moveon.org “intellectuals” is a good friend of mine. He thinks his PhD credentials in science bleed over to politics, where he takes NPR and compares it to CNN to determine “truth.”

What does worry me about liberals is their twisted self-perception. Conceit, hatred and power do not mix well in politics.

My highly placed off-the-record DC source said today that the reaction against passage of the Waxman-Markey bill was overwhelming across the country. He has heard moderate and Blue Dog Democrats who voted for it say that blowback they are getting from constituents was unbelievable and that one of the Republicans who voted for it told him that the Fourth of July recess back in the district had been the worst week of his life.

Keep those phone calls coming into DC when the Senate takes up Cap & Trade in September, folks, and also when they start the Obamacare push in Congress.

In these here parts, the owner of a very prominent baking business, David McArthur of McArthur’s Bakery, put “Russ Carnahan sold out small business” on the marquee in front of his flagship operations center. This guy's been on Fox in the past couple weeks. Businesses like his couldn't operate under the cap-and-trade rules. Carnahan’s office tried to negotiate to get the marquee changed. Well, a lot of us here are more of the, GO Mr. McArthur, mentality. McArthur’s is a bit pricey, but for special occasions, there's nothing better than their cakes. It's a “quality of life” issue that the left so loves to tout.
