Some guy in a wig is going to walk into a womens bathroom... and he’s going to get hurt when some womans husband catches him walking out.

Then they’ll call it a hate crime.

We solved this problem for our household a while ago, for several reasons. We seldom if ever go out, if we do, it is to friends and family, and once in a blue moon, to a public place. We do not use the restrooms when we do. And we are far far from alone in that.

That and, if we go any distance from home, it is to the casino's and they haven't gone off the deep end yet. (which is one major reason we go)

would open women’s bathrooms to sexual predators.
Will those creeps go that far?”

Yes, they would.

I would bring in a porta-potty. Only one person at a time in that.

I remember when laws used to protect the rights of normal civilized people. We need laws protecting straight folks from the disgusting sexual harrassment of these incredibly confused individuals...

I’ve seen three bathrooms in public places lately. The family bathroom has converted into a “unisex” bathroom. I shudder to think of what’s gone on in there and avoid them like the plague.

There were “Advocates” for women and children’s groups there saying it was a myth that sexual predators would take advantage of this. How they got children to go along with this is a mystery. Not that they actually had the children there to testify. So, when do I get to use the “Colored Only” Rest Room. I feel different today.

The proposed law adds "gender identity or expression" to existing laws already covering religion, race, and even sexual orientation.

There's not a word about bathrooms in it.The full text is available online as House Bill 1728.

A large part of MA is already covered by such legislation (e.g. Boston), with no "third bathrooms" legally mandated, or hordes of predators flocking to restrooms. In fact, 38% of the US population live in jurisdictions with such laws, and there's never been a case of a bathroom predator even attempting to use them as a defence.

Labelling it the "bathroom bill" and saying that it will protect pedophiles is a great way of opposing it though. It's been extremely effective in the past. Something doesn't have to be true to be effective.

Recently, the Democrat-controlled NH senate voted in favour of gay marriage - but because of a "bathroom bill" campaign, voted unanimously against extending to trans people and the intersexed the same rights that gays have. This situation is the same, it would just allow straight people born with congenital medical problems the same rights as gays have had for a decade.

This campaign is a great way of ensuring that only Gays have these rights, which is why so many of them who hate trans people are promoting it. Along with other groups.
