Several months after he became the leading Republican candidate in Pennsylvanias 2010 U.S. Senate race, former Rep. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) has won the endorsement of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) in a statement:
Congressman Pat Toomeys life experience and public service make him uniquely qualified to serve Pennsylvanians in the U.S. Senate. Through hard work and self-reliance, Pat Toomey has successfully represented a Democrat-leaning district and accomplished much in his private sector endeavors. Congressman Toomey is a vigorous and determined advocate for the people of Pennsylvania, and he is clearly guided by principles instead of political opportunism.

Can't say the same about the idiot Cornyn.
Cornyn had to pull Arlen out of his cornhole first.
Good deal, now lets see if they’re smart enough to endorse a guy they threw overboard in the last election.

I can’t help but wonder if the timing of this belated endorsement has to do with Jane Orie telling the RINO wing “no thanks” for their promised support.
After Arlen snookered them and Tom Ridge read the tea leaves and said no thanks, Cornyn and company had no alternative in the matter.
Well... since we have too...
Cornyn and Steele seriously need to be replaced, because both of them (and they are not the only ones, unfortunately) will end up costing the GOP from having as many political pick-ups as they should be having in ‘10 and beyond! All RINOs seriously need to leave the GOP asap, and for always!
I agree....Cornyn and Steele are leading the GOP to a disastrous 2010....an election where the GOP could snag a lot of House and Senate seats
Toomey is a fiscal and social conservative - the real thing.
