WASHINGTON -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is blaming an exhaustive White House vetting process for the fact that the Obama administration has not yet named a person to run the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Six months into the administration's tenure without having appointed someone to the agency's top spot, Clinton told USAID employees on Monday that several people had turned down the job due to overly burdensome financial and personal disclosure requirements that she called a "nightmare," "frustrating beyond words" and "ridiculous."

At the same time Obama's primary standard of only hiring people with suitible backgrounds (Chicago mob, Detroit mob, New York "families", etc.) has just got to cause real problems for anyone.

Hillary should have kept her XL Senate seat.
It’s been a long time since a sitting President has faced a significant challenge for their Party’s nomination, we could very well see it in 2012.
Hillary lacked experience in two areas when she ran for the nomination: executive experience and foreign policy experience.
Obama, buy appointing her Secretary of State, gave her the experience in both areas. She will quit shortly after the election in 2010 shows how weak Obama is and move to gain the nomination.
The current squatter soiling the Whitehouse placed an undue burden on his staff during the vetting process, they were required to find people who were as, or more, corrupt than him.
This placed the undue burden of filling spots due to the limited pool of people able to meet this requirement as most are already in jail, fled the country, under investigation or have died under strange conditions.

I agree. The people who think Obama owns Clinton are fooling themselves. When Hillary feels that the time is right, she’ll slash his Achilles tendons and leave him crippled.
Never gonna happen. No way O doesn't get renominated. I've thought all along that Hillary was angling to replace Biden, not The One on the ticket which was why she took the SOS job.
Remember that Bill has endorsed an opponent to our new Senator from NY AFTER “O” told a prospective opponent to NOT run against her. (Don’t remember if they are the same person.) I thought THAT was pretty interesting.
