WASHINGTON (AP) — The leading Judiciary Committee Republican is charging that Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is "out of the mainstream" of legal thinking and has a very activist judicial profile.

I just left my opinion of Sotomayor, very clearly, on the Chicago Tribume website.
I think the Drive By focus on race last week and this weekend is meant to keep people thinking about it...while ignoring the inherent racism in the words of a person about to assume a lifetime appointment.
We shouldn’t fight racism, real or perceived, with racism.
Why is this even an issue? :0/
Remember when someone is unfit for a job use racism it works ever time unless your white look what the firemen had to do to get their case over ruled and when she gets on the bench that will never happen again,
Politically I see only two questions right now.
Which Republicans are going to vote her out of Judiciary? (If none do, the nomination fails). I say Hatch will vote for her, not sure about the others.
The other question is the final vote.
Everything else is academic.
In my opinion, this nomination is a ‘done deal’!The thugs in the democratic party will railroad her through.. God Help America
I hope it's a party line vote but some RINOs will cave.
