A one-time aide to former Vice President Dick Cheney suggested Sunday that recent reports about Cheney and the CIA are a distraction designed to avert attention away from the policy struggles of the Obama administration.
“This is very suspect timing,” Republican strategist and former Cheney adviser Mary Matalin said Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union. “The president’s agenda is almost in shambles. His [poll] numbers are dropping. Isn’t it coincidental; they gin up a Cheney story.”
Matalin also said that the Executive branch has some authority under the nation’s intelligence laws to not disclose information to Congress under certain circumstances.
“The more people that know, the more it leaks . . . and then the enemy knows what it is,” Matalin said of details about other intelligence programs that were leaked to the media.

It’s just so predictable. I don’t even need to read Rules for Radicals and I could tell you what’s in it by the tactics Obama employs. I can’t tell you which rule # this is but it’s a deliberate tactic to divert attention one way, while they screw the American people over.

I said on this forum back in February when Eric Holder and Obama said they wouldn’t go after the Bushies to watch out—that this crowd would generate juicy tidbits for when they really got desperate. That hour has arrived. Take it as great news. His Gallup down 12 pts since the awful jobs report. Healthcare and cap-n-tax are DOA. Blunders over Iran and Honduras (Dems on Hill backtracking on Zelaya). Chilly reception in Russia. Bootie-watching Barry at the G8. Americans are souring on the Pretender-in-Chief. They are running scared.

I love how Wolf Blitzer, in the linked video, holds up the NY Times or the cover of Newsweek, and points out the headlines with his pen, word for word, and then gives that little “aha” pause; as if his viewership has the intelligence of a five or six year old. Oh wait, that IS the intelligence of his viewership. What’s next, phonetically spelling headlines? Will he show flash cards with animal symbols and plus signs? How about Big Bird and the Cookie Monster acting out little vignettes? This is simply ludicrous.

Under Bush and his administration they were mostly living well with plenty of money and jobs. HA...we knew this was coming....after what 2 years of donkeys majority in congress destroying what the Bush administration had done to help this country and Americans...now BO working overtime to destroy this nation with the intentional help of the donkey majority in congress...Hmmmm....guess they didn't think it would happen soooooooooo fast....this is too funny if it wasn't sad to see the radicals in congress and the WH doing the unthinkable....

I fully expect the 800 Billion to flow in time for the mid terms and solidfy the totalitarian socialist democrat party super majorities in Congress and fully expect a one party totalitarian State after ACORN and the WH take care of the census numbers now that that office (cencsus) was moved into barry`s bedroom at the wh and they can corrupt the election process for generations ala chavez
