this is why Obama will crash. The Dems are ideologically capable of making the policy adjustments required to pull employment out if its death spiral.

The first minimum wage increases last year coincided with the beginning of the increase in unemployment, and has certainly made matters worse for people who would have worked in low-income jobs. Summer employment will be bad for the 2nd year, and summer employment is one of the big things to get hit by minimum wage increases.
