A new book published by Al Qaeda shows that the terrorist group is under intense pressure and in "deathly fear" of U.S. counterterrorism efforts in Pakistan, terror experts say.

The 150-page book, titled "Guide to the Laws Regarding Muslim Spies," was recently posted on jihadist Web sites. It was written by a senior Al Qaeda commander, Abu Yahya Al-Libi, and features an introduction by Ayman Al-Zawahri, the No. 2 man in Al Qaeda.

The book accuses some in Al Qaeda's ranks of being spies who provide intelligence, including information about Al Qaeda camps and safehouses, to U.S. forces. According to the book, these "Muslim spies" have allowed the U.S. to use its Predator drone campaign to paralyze Al Qaeda leadership.

Has B.O. ordered a cutback in Predator development and procurement yet?

Gee, I read in the New York Times that all were doing was hitting weddings and orphanages and kindergardens and turning the population against us. Otherwise, they'd love us!

"They are in deathly fear of airpower," said McInerny, a retired lieutenant general in the U.S. Air Force. "Whether it's unmanned drones or whether it's fighters or bombers using precision weapons, they are deathly afraid."

I wouldn’t put it past him. It is, however, good to see such a heightened level of paranoia. Let them start eating their own. Of course, it could be disinformation too.....

In spite of all their flaws, God loves Americans, and due to His love he gives them the power of angels, to strike His enemies down from above, from far away, in new and innovative ways.

Allah, on the other hand, just wants Moslems to die. Abruptly.

Hey, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

But it's true, especially the part about Allah.

This kind of paranoia open up all kinds of possibilities. A few credibly placed rumoms about Al Aqaeda loyal insiders and they end up toast.

I used to think the old GDR (East Germany) was so partioned in operations and surveilance/tattletail-driven that a few targeted “gift” subscriptions to a western publications (e.g., the old Time Magazine) for Commie upper level guys could get them frog-marched out.

We’re gonna get you too, Ayman Al-Zawahri. It’s just a matter of time before you explode into a million bits of flesh and bone, courtesy of the U.S. Military.

"The books also displays a deep-seated paranoia of hidden enemies, according to MEMRI. It claims that anyone — from the old and infirm to the imam of a mosque — could be a U.S. spy."

Obortion I'm sure will be happy to help rid them of traitors among their ranks.

If there's one thing that the Clinton/Lewinsky debacle taught us about liberals, at the expense of Linda Tripp's life and liberty, it's that ratting out a friend is the one unpardonable sin.
